The Most Egotistical Thing I’ve Ever Done

This Thursday I will be attending the NACA conference in beautiful Hartford, Connecticut. Danger Room Productions will be part of the Student Activities Marketplace and I’ll be pimping myself for three straight days trying to get people who are only slightly younger than me to play at their schools.

Sounds fun? Well, I have to do all of this without anyone even hearing me play live. I’m bringing my laptop and will be playing my new CD, my press video, and will be giving out CDs and T-Shirts. There are showcases where people are voted to perform in front of the students and that is by far the best way to book shows at this conference. I haven’t been accepted for an outright showcase but there is an ‘on-site showcase’ where students vote the last showcase of the conference. People campaign and do ridiculous things to try and get votes. I am throwing my hat in the ridiculous theme with my “Vote for B-Money” campaign. Check this out:

I included the second picture to show just how big the dollar big is. My face is blown up to 18×24. Sometimes the music isn’t always about the music. Ha.

That’s all. I’ll definitely post before I leave but hopefully I can win this baby.

Woop.
