December 13
Snow Show Day.
Apparently it was foolish of me to book the show on December 13th back in the beginning of October because the projected forecast is 5 inches of snow…which blows.
We have put a ton of effort into this show…All of the bands, which is a rare thing, have promoted their tails off and at this point, we have to just be happy with whatever happens. We did our job and it’s certainly not the end of the world. I’m not angry or anything, just a little deflated.
Still, I think the performance tonight is going to be good. I’ve printed out a formal setlist and will be heading out the door in a few minutes. We had a lot of fallout yesterday about advancing the shows (order and set-up of bands) but I don’t really care to get into that right now. It’s gig day so I focus on the gig and whatever happens, happens.
So yea, I don’t really care to say much more at this juncture. I just am not in a very motivated mood today leading up to the gig. I feel a little ill but I think it’s a combination of nerves and anxiety.
