Rock You Like a Hurricane

Me and the boys played a private party last night in Manchester By The Sea. We had mixed feelings going into the event because you never know what to expect with that kind of gig. We were expected to play a split of covers and originals for two hours. It was an outdoor party but there was a large tent, which is great because there was torrential rain during nearly the entire gig.

The show went off great! We stumbled through a few songs and had to overcome some technical difficulties with my amp but it turned into one of our most fun shows in a while. For the first hour the party guests didn’t seem to notice us but by the end there were about a dozen people dancing and we ended up playing over an hour longer than planned!

We got a lot of kind words and sold a ton of CDs and I’m interested to see if people will keep in touch or potentially hire us for other parties. Either way, it was an unexpectedly fun show.

Also, some people had asked about our new album and of course I directed them over to the Album Sponsorship page. The sponsorship is going great so far! We’re on a week break from the studio but we’ve raised over $500 so far towards the album and I’m getting ready to do another push to see if we can raise more sponsors for the new album. Thanks for the support everyone and make sure you check out the album sponsorship page if you haven’t all ready!
