Studio Update

I haven’t written in a few days for a number of reasons:

1. I’ve been sick as a dog
2. I’ve been mourning the loss of the Red Sox (congratulations you pesky Rays)
3. I was in the studio and will be back in today

We’re getting there with the record. We still have a long way to go but things are coming together. Yesterday, we were laying down electric guitar parts and we put them down for “Let Me In”, “Have Heart” and part of “Anna”. Today we’ll continue with “Tell My Story” and “Hanging Around” and lay down the basic track for the last song on the record, which is currently untitled.

The release date keeps getting pushed back, but I’m not so worried. It looks like we’ll have the CD release party in March now. February will be such a hectic month with my trip to San Francisco and possibly a week-long tour that I want to make sure I can pay proper attention to the CD’s release.

Back to the studio!

    March, eh?
    Hmm…

from our end, that is pretty awesome. We’d love the new music to be here as soon as the next folks. But as far as getting over there to see the release shows, Spring ‘09 has a pretty good chance for that to happen. Not that you’re basing your schedule on our ability to travel, but that is a happy coincidence.

    1) Feel better
    2) Sorry about the Sox. I thought about you Sunday night while I was consoling my heartbroken boyfriend.
3)Hope the studio is going well for you!

Hope the studio is going fantastically, I’m sorry you’re sick. Hope you enjoyed your frozen yogurt the other night too!

San Francisco in February? Ridiculous. I’m going to be there for a couple of days in January.
