Write, Damnit!
I’ve found it incredibly difficult to get into a groove of writing consistently in this blog. Though I constantly muse with the idea of having a system (writing about certain things on certain days), alas, as the great Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “You lack discipline!” Please, please, click on that link.
My biggest struggle lately is that I haven’t been writing music. I decided that I now refuse to write about nothing. It’s a bit of an experiment but I’m tired of sitting down to write and coercing words from myself that talk about something but don’t mean anything. I’m trying to write a lot more intentionally and I’m trying to consciously avoid wondering, would anyone actually care? My logic now is that if it is full of intent than someone would care, even if they don’t quite understand why. I’m trying to will it into being.
We’ll see how that goes.
such is the dilemma i’ve faced with Blogging; not enough time/energy/moxy/get-up-n-go to keep a consistent series of topics spewing forth. We both know that i am no stranger to writing (sometimes extensive) for others to read, but i just can’t force myself to keep it on a regular schedule.
I feel ya.
oh, and that Arnold commercial creeped me out. It’s like a bad dream you have after eating some bad sushi or something.
