So, the weather is almost as bad here as it is back home. My second show (Butler, PA) was postponed this afternoon to the back end of the tour. It’ll now be on February 4th, which works out pretty well. I needed today to get things with the rest of my life back in order.
I drove 7 hours yesterday an arrived in Selinsgrove and Susquehanna University. I played in Charlie’s Coffeehouse to a pretty small crowd (10 people) who were very polite. I’d give the gig a B- but a number of them came up and said hi after and had nice things to say.
I listened to ‘Night’ by Elie Wiesel on the way down. It was written pretty well and was profoundly sad. I’ve been increasingly grateful lately for all that I have in my life. I’m blessed to be able to do what I do, so thanks for being a part of that!
I’m in Altoona, PA at Panera Bread. It’s my second Panera of the day! My first was in State College, PA, which had a great downtown area. I only tour it seems in January and February when the weather is not too good. When I get back from San Francisco, I’m going to start planning my October tour when the weather will be a lot nicer!
I’m heading over to Pittsburgh tomorrow. I’m excited because I’ve never be there. Tonight, however, I’ll conquer Altoona.

1) We’re expecting 24-26 inches of snow in Farmington
2) I love ‘Night’ I read it in high school
Good luck on tour!
