I’m home and am working on getting my life sorted back out. The last show went great! They had me as a coffeehouse performer after an art gallery reception and there were about 15 people. They were mostly adults (there for the art gallery) but a few students and people from the community. They had great sound equipment but unfortunately, they couldn’t get it working. I’m glad I brought my equipment for the trip because something inevitably goes wrong. It was nice to be back in Oil City because it’s an absolutely beautiful place. I hope to be back some other time.
I made the 9.5 hour drive home in 8.25, I was sore and tired but happy to be back. I picked up Cahill’s PA because we need it for the shows on Saturday and I got home and started putting my stuff away. I have a to-do list 15 items long today.
I’m very excited about the two shows tomorrow–the soup competition and the old court!–and it’ll be good to play with the band. We haven’t played together since November (how is that possible?) but we’ll quickly work the rust off and kick butt.
To work!
